Exploring Shape With Juan Miro

Third graders learned about the difference between geometric and organic shapes by creating shape creatures. Juan Miro, Spanish artist, is our inspiration for this drawing project. This work solidifies our knowledge of primary colors, introduced differentiation of organic and geometric shapes, and allows for personal expression and creativity in designing our own imaginary creatures.
